In accordance with Rules 10 and 11 of Part III of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, Public of Uttarakhand has established a grievance redressal mechanism and appointed a Grievance Officer based in India for grievances relating to the Code of Ethics.

Any person having a grievance regarding news and current-affairs content published by Public of Uttarakhand in relation to the Code of Ethics may send it by e-mail to publicofuttarakhand@gmail.com, addressed to Manya Pundir, Grievance Officer. Please include:
The Grievance Officer acts at Level I of the statutory grievance mechanism. If the Publisher does not communicate its decision within 15 days, the grievance shall be escalated to the Self-Regulating Body of which the Publisher is a member. A complainant dissatisfied with the Publisher's decision may prefer an appeal to that Self-Regulating Body within 15 days of receiving the decision. Further oversight is provided at Level III by the Oversight Mechanism of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting under Rule 13.
Details of the Self-Regulating Body (name, website, appeal/contact details and escalation route) will be published here on confirmation of membership under Rule 12. Until then, appeals against a decision of the Grievance Officer may be sent to publicofuttarakhand@gmail.com and will be forwarded in accordance with Rule 12.
Complaints concerning member-submitted content or third-party content displayed on the Platform (including impersonation, privacy violation or non-consensual intimate imagery) may be sent to the same address and will be handled within the timelines prescribed under the IT Rules, 2021. Complaints about Paid Membership, AutoPay debits, cancellation, refunds, the Citizen Reporter Membership ID Card, or your account are consumer/service complaints. They are not Code of Ethics grievances under Part III of the IT Rules, 2021, are not escalated to the Self-Regulating Body, and are not counted in the monthly compliance reports below.

Monthly compliance reports will be published here, month-wise, containing the number of grievances received, disposed and pending, the nature of grievances, action taken, and any orders or directions received and the action taken on them.
